Who handles your information
GadgetHub LB, Zahle, Lebanon, is responsible for the customer information used to operate this store. This notice explains our use of information when you browse, create an account, contact us or place an order.
Information we process
Depending on how you use the store, we process your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and instructions, account credentials in protected form, verification information, cart and order details, loyalty activity and customer communications. Our systems also process technical information such as IP-related security information, session identifiers and administrative/security logs. We accept cash on delivery and do not ask for payment-card details at checkout.
Why we use it
We use this information to manage accounts and sign-in, prepare and deliver orders, provide order history and loyalty features, respond to requests, prevent misuse, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Information required for an order or sign-in is needed to provide that service. Theme preference storage and Google Analytics are on by default on the website; you can change or turn them off in Cookie settings.
Mobile app and push notifications
When you accept the mobile terms and allow notifications, we store an app installation identifier, push token in protected form, platform, locale, app version and notification preferences. Global campaigns may be sent to any opted-in app installation. If you sign in, the installation is associated with your account so selected-user campaigns and order updates can reach you. Session expiry keeps that association; manual logout removes it, while the installation may still receive global campaigns until you opt out, revoke device permission or uninstall the app.
Service providers and sharing
We share delivery information with Wakilni as needed to deliver your order, including recipient contact and address details and relevant delivery/payment instructions. Hosting, database, backup and email-delivery providers process information to operate the store. When available and chosen, SMS sign-in uses Google Firebase and reCAPTCHA for verification and abuse prevention. Unless you opt out of analytics in Cookie settings, Google Analytics measures page use and shopping events without receiving customer names, emails, phone numbers, delivery addresses or order notes. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate technical traffic measurement. If you follow our WhatsApp or Instagram links, your interaction with those services is also governed by their policies. We do not use analytics data for personalized advertising.
Processing locations and security
Although we serve Lebanon only, technology providers may process information outside Lebanon. We use measures such as protected authentication, access controls and security logging to help protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Never send us your password or verification code.
How long information is kept
Account and order information is kept to provide account services, fulfil orders and support business records, complaints and applicable legal obligations. Verification and session information has limited validity; expiry of a code or cookie does not necessarily delete the related server record. Logs and backups may remain after an account is closed. When you delete your account in the app or website, we soft-delete it: you can no longer sign in, login identifiers are replaced with non-routable placeholders, and sessions end. Orders and security/audit records may still be retained where needed for legal or dispute-related reasons. Contact us for information about retention of your records.
Your requests and updates
Signed-in customers can delete their own account from Account after confirming and reauthenticating when that control is available. You may also contact us to request access to or correction of your information, to request account closure or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. We may verify your identity before acting and will handle requests subject to applicable Lebanese law. Cookie settings on the website let you change or turn off optional browser storage and analytics. We will date updates to this notice on this page.
